Driver/Transporter - Intermittent

SCHEDULE

Intermittent work is on call where there is no promise of hours but you can work up to 20 hours per week dependent on the needs of the agency.

COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $11.89

JOB SUMMARY

General Description: Provides transportation for consumers to and from designated pickup locations to and from Clubhouse, hospitals and other agencies. 

Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinates with clubhouse agency staff and members to transport members as necessary to and from clubhouse psychosocial rehabilitation programs and/or social recreation activities. Maintains clubhouse and agency vehicles including gas and cleaning to ensure safe and healthy operating procedures for employees and members. Reports immediately to supervisor any unsafe conditions of vehicle to schedule needed repairs.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

General Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

License: Valid driver's license is required.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT 

Knowledge: No prior knowledge is necessary. 

Skills: Must be able to follow directions. 

Abilities: Ability to work independently. Ability to follow HIPAA regulations. 

Physical Demands: Work involves walking, bending and lifting items less than 50 pounds. 

Work Environment: Work is performed in a typical office setting and in a vehicle.
