SCHEDULE
This is a full time position working in the Gladwin Junior and Senior High Schools Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $47,029 - $63,981 depending on experience
JOB SUMMARY
General Description: Responsible for providing a wide range of early intervention mental health services to youth and their families to assist youth with mental health issues within the scope of practice.
Responsibilities and Duties: Provides mental health supports to students with mild to moderate mental health issues. Services within the scope of practice may include:
a. Administer behavioral health screening tool
b. Administer brief behavioral health assessment to determine the type and urgency
of response required (behavioral health triage)
c. Crisis intervention
d. Brief interventions for emotional support and regulation
e. Obtaining and integrating information regarding a student's behavior and supports
necessary for success in school and life
f. Provide short-term individual and small group counseling services to students
g. Provide appropriate referrals for students in need of more intensive services
h. Provide psychoeducation services to assist student and parents/caregivers in
understanding student diagnosis, behavioral health needs, and support services
offered
i. Behavioral health case management such as planning and managing psychological
services
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education: Bachelor's Degree required Major: Social Work
Must be currently enrolled or agrees to enroll in a program to become a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) or a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
