JOB SUMMARY

General Description: The OBRA assessor is responsible for participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive Pre-Admission Screenings (PAS) and Annual Resident Reviews (ARR) to persons who are seeking or residing in a nursing home.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assesses individuals referred for a Level II OBRA Mental Health Screening.
  • Directly observe, interview, and evaluate referred individuals making recommendations to the Agency and/or nursing home staff for any treatment specific to their needs and any programs designed to enhance an individual's lifestyle.
  • Completes Psychosocial and Psychiatric assessments, reports, and all communications required to finalize OBRA Mental Health Assessments.
  • Provides clinical documentation for services provided.
  • Complete timely documentation and OBRA Mental Health Assessments in accordance with Agency policies, procedures and OBRA requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

Education: Master's Degree is required with a major in Social Work, Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology.

Job-Related Experience:
Sufficient experience to perform the position at a satisfactory level required. Experience with relevant population in a community mental health setting preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: Michigan state licensure. Valid driver's license while operating vehicle on agency business.

SCHEDULE

This is a full time, hybrid position, 40 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and can be Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm or Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Salary: $53,414 - $72,550 depending on experience
